Who is Aspect Wall Arts website provider and what information do they have access to ?

BigCommerce is a website/ecommerce platform provider based in the United States which hosts and runs the back end of our website. BigCommerce is a participant in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and is committed to providing a best-in-class service and data protection. You are able to check its participation in the Privacy Shield on the official site of The International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. Department of Commerce.

BigCommerce receives the following information which is provided by you (the customer) when ordering : Name, address, postcode, email address and phone number. Other information collected : Country, IP address, date/time stamp and payment method.

nb. Financial information, i.e credit/debit card details, are encrypted to ensure full security, using a site-wide Geo Trust SSL certificate. None of these details are held in any way by BigCommerce servers.

Essential information we collect:

In operating our store, it is essential for us to capture some information about the device you are using, such as your IP address and information related to your visit when you browse our store. Our store is PCI-DSS compliant (a very strict industry standard with requirements for the security of credit card information), but we want to use accredited companies to process your credit card information. We use Braintree payment gateway (a Paypal company) for all debit and credit card transactions and Apple Pay or Paypal as our alternative payment methods, so you can be assured of a safe and secure transaction. We also have a dedicated GeoTrust site-wide SSL to keep all information and card details encrypted at all times. You will notice that all of the websites URL's start with HTTPS and show a padlock symbol, this shows that the pages are fully secure. Along with these security measures we are rated safe by Norton safe web, McAfee and ScanVerify which regularly check our website's secure data transmissions are protected against third-party hacker attacks.

How we use cookies:

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual.
